Bharat Stage 6 compliant Kawasaki Versys 1000 launched in India.
As the lockdown situation eases out for automakers, new cars and bikes are rolling out. Kawasaki has launched the updated Versys 1000 to meet new emission norms.
The BS6 compliant bike is priced at Rs. 10.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is Rs. 10,000/- more expensive than the BS4 model. There are no changes in terms of equipment, styling and performance.
The BS6 Kawasaki Versys 1000 is powered by the same 1043cc, liquid-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder engine. It churns out 120 PS at 9000 RPM and 102 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. Paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Some of the features include cruise control, power modes, 5-axis Bosch IMU, cornering ABS, traction control, riding modes, etc.
The Versys 1000 is offered with 2 colour options. Candy Lime Green with Metallic Spark Black and Pearl Stardust White with Metallic Spark Black.
Kawasaki is accepting online orders. Customers can also book the bikes via telephone call. Deliveries will commence once operations get back to normal in safe zones.
