A BS6 Isuzu MU-X has been spotted on test recently in Bengaluru indicating that the SUV will be put on sale this year.
The brand has indicated that the MU-X will be coming soon and the same has been conveyed (for several months now) on its official web page.
The model seen on test runs is not the new-generation MU-X that was revealed late last year, but the one that was discontinued in India earlier.
No design changes seem to have been made to the car that was facelifted back in 2018. Thus, it comes with projector headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps and 18-inch alloy wheels.
While the interior of the BS6 Isuzu MU-X spotted on test is not pictured, it is likely to be unchanged as well.
However, there is a possibility that Isuzu could be testing the powertrain of the new-generation version of the SUV which is expected to come to India.
Sporting updated styling all-round, the latest MU-X looks more modern and has a well-rounded design overall along with many latest safety features.
It still has a body-on-frame construction and features LED headlights and tail lamps, revised bumpers and a much more modern cabin which has a 9-inch touchscreen, latest connectivity tech, among plenty of other features.
Engine-wise, the car can be had with a 1.9-litre (150 HP and 350 Nm) or a 3.0-litre (190 HP and 450 Nm) diesel units, paired with manual or automatic gearboxes, while 4-wheel-drive will also be offered.
