Honda CD 110 Dream updated with BS6, new visual changes and features.
Updated Honda CD 110 Dream launched, priced from Rs. 64,505/- (ex-showroom). Along with the BS6 update, the bike gets quite a few changes than its BS4 predecessor.
The motorcycle gets new graphics, chrome cover on the muffler, body coloured ORVMs and silver alloy wheels. There is a new DC headlamp. Honda has also added engine start/stop switch on the bike.
For better comfort, the seat is now 15 mm longer. It offers more space to the pillion and rider. Seat height of the bike remains 790 mm while the fuel tank capacity is 9.1-litre.
Powering the bike is the same 109.51cc engine. It now comes with fuel injection, Honda smart power technology and ACG starter motor. The company claims these additions will offer smooth and jolt-free ride.
This motor churns out 8.80 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 9.30 Nm torque at 5500 RPM. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Honda has made some tweaks to the engine.
It comes with slightly open exhaust valves, this helps in better decompression utilisation. The piston is slightly rotated to opposite direction which helps in starting the engine with lesser power.
The cooling efficiency of the piston is improved now. Moreover, there is a reduction in frictional loss. New low rolling resistance tyres are offered that improve efficiency and grip.
The Japanese bike maker is offering 6-year warranty package with the new Honda CD 110 Dream. It is available in 4 colour options – black, blue, grey and red.
