Hero aims to convert the rest of its portfolio to BS6 very soon.
Hero has launched the BS6-compliant Hero HF Deluxe in India in 2 variants – a self start alloy trim priced at Rs. 55,925/- and an idle-start stop or i3S variant tagged at Rs. 57,250/- (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the second BS6 motorcycle in India after the company’s Splendor iSmart.
Hero has also started dispatching BS6 compliant models of the HF Deluxe to dealerships across India and aims to convert the rest of its portfolio to BS6 very soon.
The new BS6 Hero HF Deluxe gets all-new graphics and colours as well. The bike is available in trendy combinations of black with red, black with purple, and black with grey and in two new colour schemes of techno blue and heavy grey with green.
The new Hero HF Deluxe gets a fuel-injected engine with ‘Xsens’ technology that claims to offer 9% better fuel efficiency and acceleration. The new engine makes 8 PS at 8000 RPM and the peak torque rating is 8.05 Nm at 6000 RPM. The Hero HF Deluxe commands over 60% market share in the 100cc motorcycle segment.
