The BS6-compliant Isuzu D-Max V-Cross has been spotted on test ahead of its launch scheduled for April. This recently spotted unit is the Z variant of the pickup.
However, it comes equipped with an automatic gearbox and thus, we presume that it is actually the Z Prestige variant that was first launched back in August 2019 (read article here).
The Z Prestige variant came with a 1.9-litre diesel engine good for 150 HP and 350 Nm (in its BS4 guise) that was mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
No design changes have been made to the pickup that was seen testing either on the outside or inside. It has the same Bi-LED headlights, LED tail lamps, oodles of chrome and 18-inch alloy wheels, on its exterior.
Inside, the BS6 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross spotted on test had the familiar 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard, blacked out interiors with piano black trim. Isuzu is likely to offer the car with the same set of features as the BS4-compliant version.
Expect the model to come with safety features like 6 airbags, traction control, hill descent control, hill start assist, reversing camera, ESP and a brake override system, when it gets launched.
Like before, Isuzu might offer the lifestyle vehicle in 3 variants – Standard, Z and Z Prestige – and this time, the pickup might only be offered with the 1.9-litre diesel engine.
