BMW has introduced the new entry-level X7 variant in India.
The BMW X7 is the flagship SUV from the German luxury carmaker. It is now available in a new entry-level xDrive30d DPE trim with a price tag of Rs. 92.50 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom).
The X7 was introduced via CBU in India last year. The entire X7 range is now locally assembled via CKD in the country. BMW offers two more variants of the X7 – xDrive30d DPE Signature and xDrive 40i M Sport.
The xDrive30d DPE Signature is priced at Rs. 1.03 crores, which has been increased from Rs. 98.90 lakhs. The xDrive 40i M Sport is priced at Rs. 1.07 crores and it has also been increased from the previous price of Rs. 98.90 lakhs.
The xDrive30d DPE is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 261 BHP at 4000 RPM and 620 Nm of torque at 1500-2500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission channeling the power to all 4 wheels.
This entry-level trim gets lesser equipment than the Signature version but still is loaded with features like 7 airbags, ESC, TCS, HDC, seven-seat layout, air suspension, 4-zone climate control, powered rear sunshades, digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay, etc.
