BMW X4 M40i is imported to India as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model
BMW X4 M40i launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 96.20 lakhs (ex-showroom). The German carmaker will import the car as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model in India. It is the range topping performance oriented version of the X4 which comes with a powerful engine and a sporty looking exterior and interior.
Let’s get straight to the specifications of this car. It is powered by a 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 360 HP at 5200-6500 RPM and 500 Nm of torque at 1900-5000 RPM. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It is available with xDrive AWD setup. This engine helps the car do 0-100 km/hr in 4.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 250 km/hr.
The BMW X4 M40i is available in two colour options – Brooklyn Grey and Black Sapphire. It features the standard leather Vernasca in Black and Tacora Red options.
Some of the exterior highlights include Dark BMW M kidney grille, M Shadow Line lights, 20-inch Jet Black M light alloy wheels, etc. The cabin gets M interior trim finishers in carbon fibre and M seat belts that differentiate it with the regular model.
It comes with BMW Live Cockpit Professional that includes 3D Navigation,12.3-inch digital information display behind the steering wheel, 12.3-inch Control Display and BMW Head-up Display. It features Harman Kardon Surround Sound System with 16 speakers.
For sporty driving dynamics, BMW is offering M Sport differential, Adaptive M suspension, Variable Sport Steering and M Sport brakes for strong stopping power.
Safety tech includes six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor, ISOFIX child seat mounting and integrated emergency spare wheel under the load floor.
