The asking price of the BMW X1 Tech Edition is the same as the 20d xLine variant
BMW India has introduced the X1 20i Tech Edition with a price tag of Rs. 43 lakhs (ex-showroom), today.
Visually, the BMW X1 Tech Edition looks the same as the other variants. It comes with LED lighting units, twin exhaust outlets and new 18-inch alloy wheels.
Available in 2 colours choices – Alpine White and Phytonic Blue (Metallic) – the Tech Edition of the X1 comes with Sensatec Oyster Black upholstery.
The cabin of the Tech Edition remains the same as other variants of the SUV, but, the model comes with features such as a new 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a head-up display, wireless charging and a 205 W Hi-Fi sound system.
Other features the vehicle is equipped with include a panorama glass roof, ambient lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay, electric front seats with memory function, and 40:20:40 split reclining rear seat backrest with centre armrest.
Powering the SUV is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 192 HP and 280 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 7-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission.
For added driver involvement, there are paddle shifters, drive modes (Eco Pro, Comfort and Sport) and launch control, while the cruise control with braking function that is offered as standard should make long distance journeys a breeze.
Safety technologies offered with the SUV include 6 airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC) and ISOFIX child seat mountings.
