BMW Motorrad has launched the all-new R 1250 R and the R 1250 RT in India, priced at Rs. 15.95 lakhs and Rs. 22.50 lakhs, respectively (all prices, ex-showroom). Both motorcycles have entered our shores as completely built-up units (CBU).
The new BMW R1250R is available in a Black Storm and Pollux Metallic Matt colour. On the other hand, the new BMW R 1250 RT gets Blueplanet metallic and Sparkling Storm metallic body paint options.
Both the motorcycles are powered by a 1254cc, 2-cylinder engine producing 136 PS of power at 7750 RPM and 143 Nm of torque at 6250 RPM. They even have 2 riding modes available as standard that allows the motorcycle to adapt according to its rider. The bikes get an advanced boxer engine with BMW ShiftCam Technology as well.
Automatic Stability Control (ASC) along with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS Pro) and Hill Start Control is offered as standard. Both the motorcycles are fitted with a front spoiler, golden brake callipers, radiator cover and stainless steel tank cover.
The BMW R 1250 R and the R 1250 RT get a 6.5-inch inch full-colour TFT screen, seat heating, central locking system, tyre pressure control and anti-theft alarm system.
