The price of the BMW Individual 740Li M Sport is steep, but there are bespoke features that justify the cost
The BMW Individual 740Li M Sport Edition has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 1,42,90,000/- (ex-showroom), today in India. Only limited units of the model will be available for sale here, says the German car manufacturer.
Offered in Dravit Grey and Tanzanite Blue BMW Individual colours, the luxury sedan has stately presence. It comes with adaptive LED headlights with Laserlight technology, M Sport exterior elements and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, customers who dish out the BMW Individual 740Li M Sport price will be treated to a bespoke interior. BMW has used Nappa leather upholstery with extended stitching, fine-wood trim, Alcantara headliner in Ivory White and Canberra Beige highlights and Alcantara headrest and backrest cushions with customisable embroidery.
Further, there are ‘BMW Individual’ trim badging on the dash and centre console, ‘BMW Individual’ emblem on the trims, along with features such as 4-zone climate control, electrically adjustable seats, ambient lighting, panoramic glass roof and more.
As part of the ‘Rear-seat Entertainment Professional’, the BMW Individual 740Li M Sport Edition comes with 2 10.2-inch touchscreens with a Blu-ray player and a 7-inch tablet which is integrated to the centre armrest.
Not to forget the BMW Individual design composition which includes comfort access system, seat ventilation (front and rear), seat heating (front and rear), soft close doors and welcome light carpet.
Powering the luxury sedan is a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder, turbocharged motor that puts out 340 HP and 450 Nm of torque. Mated to an 8-speed Steptronic auto gearbox, it can propel the car to 100 km/hr from nought in 5.6 seconds.
Sporting adaptive air suspension, the BMW Individual 740Li M Sport also comes equipped with drive modes, auto start-stop, and an array of driver assistance systems like Driving Assistant with Lane Change Warning, Rear Collision Warning and Crossing Traffic Warning, among others.
The car also comes with Parking Assistant Plus, Reversing Assistant and Remote-Control Parking function, apart from a whole host of passive safety features.
