BMW Motorrad will commence bookings for the BS6 G 310 R and G 310 GS in India from 1st September 2020 onwards, ahead of the official launch of the motorcycles.
To book the bikes, customers can visit the BMW Motorrad dealership of their choice or fill up an enquiry form on BMW Motorrad’s website for India.
The updated motorcycles will be launched first in the Indian market, before being sold elsewhere and the firm says deliveries will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
No price has been quoted by BMW with respect to the token amount to book the bikes, but we had reported earlier that BMW dealers are accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs. 50,000/-.
Both bikes will be powered by a 313cc singe-cylinder motor that is expected to produce the same power figure as the BS4 version. Thus, peak power and torque figures will be 34 PS and 28 Nm.
Features offered on the bikes include LED headlight and LED indicators, redesigned tank extensions in the case of the G 310 R, addition of ride-by-wire, among others.
It is said that BMW will reduce the price of the bikes this time around and with BMW G 310 R bookings commenced along with its twin brother, we do not have to wait much longer to know if that is indeed the case.
Customers will be given customised and flexible finance offers, while loans will also be pre-approved before delivery takes place, says BMW, adding that the bikes will come with 3 years/unlimited kilometres warranty as standard, with the option of extending it for two more years.
