The 2020 BMW 530i Sport has been introduced in India at a tag of Rs. 55.40 lakhs.
BMW has added a new variant to the 5-Series line-up in India and that is the 530i Sport which is launched at a price of Rs. 55.40 lakhs (ex-showroom). The 530i Sport is slotted below the 530i M-Sport and misses out on the M body kit and some other goodies that the top of the line petrol variant comes with.
The BMW 530i Sport does get a good number of features like adaptive LED headlamps, 12.3-inch MID, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, BMW apps, navigation & Gesture Control, sunroof, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control and BMW’s display key. The Sport variant misses out on wireless charging, Active Damper Control, 16-speaker Harman Kardon system, and 360-degree parking camera.
Under the hood of the BMW 530i Sport is the same 2.0-litre, 4-cyl petrol engine churning out 252 HP and 350 Nm, with 0-100 km/hr coming up in 6.1 seconds. The engine comes mated to the usual ZF 8-speed gearbox. You get driving modes like Eco Pro, Sport, Sport+ and Comfort.
The vehicle comes loaded with safety features like 6 airbags, ABS with BA, Active Park Distance Control, DSC with DTC, Cornering Brake Control, Hill Descent Control and Side Impact Protection. The 530i Sport is available in the following exterior colour options – Mineral White, Black Sapphire, Mediterranean Blue and Bluestone Metallic. For the cabin, you get Sensatec upholstery with Canberra Beige and Black options. The Dakota upholstery which is available on the M-Sport isn’t available with this variant.
