BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition Launched, Priced From Rs. 53.50 Lakhs

The asking price of the BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition is Rs. 1 lakh more than the corresponding regular model

BMW has introduced the 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition with a starting price of Rs. 53.50 lakhs (ex-showroom) today in India.

Produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai exclusively for the Indian market, only limited units of the car are available on the firm’s Online Shop.

Offered in both petrol and diesel guises, the 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition comes in 3 exterior colourways, namely Carbon Black, Cashmere Silver and Mineral White.

On the outside, the new BMW 3-Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition features an ‘Iconic Glow’ kidney grille, while inside, the luxury sedan has a crystal gear knob, coat hanger and rear seat headrest cushions.

Based on the Luxury Line variant of the 3-Series Gran Limousine, the Iconic Edition has features such as LED headlamps and tail lights, welcome light carpet, illuminated door sill plates, and a panorama glass sunroof.

Further, the luxury sedan also has comfort seats, Vernasca leather upholstery (Cognac or Black), sports leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, 3-zone automatic climate control, 12.3-inch digital cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, parking assist with reverse assist, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android and 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound system.

Powering the petrol version of the luxury sedan is a 2.0-litre turbocharged motor making 255 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. The diesel model also has a turbocharged 2.0-litre motor making 189 BHP and 400 Nm of torque.

Both motors are mated to an 8-speed steptronic sport automatic transmission. The car also comes with paddle shifters, driving modes – Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+, launch control, cruise control with braking function, auto start-stop and a whole host of safety features.
