Black Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Gets Demonic In New TVC [Video]

Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Colour Black

The new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 gets a complete black finished paint job with contrasting red and grey decals and makes the bike look stunning, as it has done with every Pulsar series.

The Pulsar RS 200 is now available in three colours – red, yellow and black

Black has always been a colour closely associated with the Pulsar series, be it the 180cc black edition or the sporty looking 220F and 200 NS versions that had a special appeal to it. Hence, it was surprising to see Bajaj Auto not launch the flagship RS 200 in a black shade at the time of launch. While the company stated that the same was due to capacity constraints, several Pulsar fans were disheartened and opted for the subjectively loud yellow and red paint options.

Never the less, black is back on the Pulsar as the RS 200 was recently launched with the new demon black shade and Bajaj has released a new TVC showcasing the full faired bike’s demonic stance. Bringing back the tagline ‘Fear the Black’, the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 looks a lot better with the black shade hiding the visual bulk on the bike while gelling well with the plastic cladding on the lower sections. You also get new contrasting red and grey decals that keep their effect to a minimal without looking too loud.

In addition to the black shade, Bajaj also has a blue shade in the pipeline that is currently reserved for export markets and could be introduced by the end of this year. Bajaj does offer the black and blue shade on the Pulsar AS 200 and 150 models. Talking about the mechanicals, the RS 200 draws power from a 199.5cc single-cylinder fuel injected engine, tuned for 24.5 PS at 9750 RPM and 18.6 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 uses telescopic front forks and a monoshock setup at the rear while braking performance comes from 300 mm and 230 mm discs at the front and rear. A Bosch sourced single-channel ABS unit (front wheel) is also available as optional. Make sure to check out the new TVC below, while we also added the original Pulsar 180 Black TVC from the previous decade for some nostalgia.
