The new unveil could most probably be the Bentley Bentayga long wheelbase version from the hints given in the teaser
Luxury marque Bentley will add 1 more car to its lineup with a new unveil on 10th May. Sharing a couple of teasers on its Twitter handle, Bentley has also revealed a couple of hints to play around with.
The door which has been revealed in the teaser looks almost like that of the existing Bentayga but slightly longer. The brand has also quoted the term, ‘Long awaited’. As Bentley is already testing the Bentayga long wheelbase version, the unveil on 10th May could most probably be the same car.
The Bentayga long wheelbase could be a part of the luxury brand’s move to offer more derivatives of the existing models. A coupe version, a limited-edition high-performance model which is now the W12 Bentayga Speed, and a long-wheelbase variant were already planned.
When launched, this India-bound model will join the likes of the standard V8, the V6 plug-in hybrid, the Bentayga S, and the top-of-the-line Speed models. It will rival the Range Rover and the Mercedes Benz Maybach SUV.
Coming to the looks, from the teaser, we can make out that the car gets newly designed door pads with purple ambient lighting. The diamond shaped detailing also adds to the overall looks of the interior. Expect the car to get more such updates inside out. It will also command a premium over the standard model.
Bentley recently revealed its Beyond 100 plan wherein its models will be electric-only by 2030 making it a carbon-neutral brand. The luxury brand will be releasing 5 electric cars starting from 2025 in this strategy.
As far as India is concerned, Bentley currently sells multiple variants of the Flying Spur, Continental, and Bentayga.
