Benelli TRK 502, 502X Launched, Priced From Rs. 5 Lakhs

Benelli is the latest brand to enter the adventure-tourer segment in India with two new bikes.

TRK 502 and 502X are Benelli’s addition to adventure-tourer segment

Benelli has launched the two adventure-tourer bikes in India, namely the TRK 502 and TRK 502X. The TRK 502 is a proper adventure tourer bike, while the TRK 502X is a more off-road focused bike. The TRK 502 is priced at Rs. 5 lakhs while the TRK 502X is priced at Rs. 5.40 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Both the bikes get a 499cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which churns out 47 BHP at 8500 RPM along with 46 Nm of peak torque at 5000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Benelli TRK 502 siblings get 50 mm upside down forks up front along with a monoshock suspension setup at the rear. The bike comes with 320 mm dual disc brakes up front and a 260 mm rear disk brake, to provide enough stopping power for the 500cc engine.

The Benelli TRK 502X features a bigger 19-inch wheel up front and a 17-inch unit at the rear, whereas the TRK 502 features 17-inch units at both ends. TRK 502X also features a higher mounted exhaust. The TRK 502 and 502X will take on Kawasaki Versys 650 and Suzuki V-Strom 650. Both the Benelli bikes have a 20-litre fuel tank.
