Post the launch of the 302R, Benelli updates the TNT 300 finally with the much-needed ABS.
DSK Benelli has launched the TNT 300 with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) in India, priced at Rs. 4.16 lakhs (on-road, Bengaluru). Dealerships have commenced taking bookings for the ABS-equipped TNT 300 and deliveries are expected to begin in few days. The ABS unit on the TNT 300 comes after a stint of two years. The TNT 300 was launched in India back in 2015 without ABS, the non-ABS variant has now been discontinued.
No other changes are done to the motorcycle. The Benelli TNT 300 is powered by a 300cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 38 HP of power and 26.5 Nm of torque. This engine comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The street-fighter uses up-side down forks up front and a monoshock suspension setup at the rear. Braking power comes from dual discs on the front and a single disc at the rear.
The ABS version comes at a premium of approximately Rs. 16,000/- over the regular TNT 300 which is a fair deal for those concerned about being safe on the roads. This motorcycle tips the scales at 196 kgs which makes it quite heavy for a 300cc bike.
This twin-cylinder motorcycle rivals the KTM Duke 390, Mahindra Mojo and Kawasaki Ninja Z250. The Benelli TNT 300 is available in a choice of 4 colours – Green, Red, White and Black.
