Benelli has reduced the pricing of their 300cc range motorcycles by up to Rs. 60,000/-.
Benelli has announced a prominent price cut for their 300cc range of motorcycles which includes Benelli TNT 300 and 302R. The former gets a price cut of Rs. 51,000/- while the latter is now offered for Rs. 60,000/- less. Now the pricing for the TNT 300 is Rs. 2.99 lakhs and for the 302R is Rs. 3.10 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom).
This substantial cut in the pricing has been done owing to the reduction of manufacturing costs of Benelli bikes in India. The Italian motorcycle maker has passed on the cost benefits to the customer, which will make it more reachable to a wider audience. Benelli is expecting to churn out good volumes with this price cut as it makes the bikes more value for money.
The Benelli TNT 300 and 302R are powered by the same 300cc, in-line, 2-cylinder engine that produces 38.26 BHP and 26.5 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It will now be a tough fight in the 300cc segment competing with the KTM Duke 390, RC 390, Ninja 400 and the likes.
