The Benelli TNT 200 has made its global debut at the 2017 EICMA Motor Show in Milan, Italy. The motorcycle is set to be launched in Europe first.

As the name suggests, the Benelli TNT 200 is powered by a 199.4cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected motor that produces 21.8 PS of power at 9500 RPM and 18 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The 200cc powerplant gets ECU from Delphi and spark plugs from NGK.

The Benelli TNT 200 uses up-side down forks up front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are via 260 mm disc with 4-piston calliper and 240 mm disc with double piston calliper at the front and rear respectively. Benelli is not offering ABS even as an option. The bike comes shod in 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 110-section tyre up front and 130-section tyre at the rear.

Like its bigger siblings, the Benelli TNT 200 also uses a trestle frame (painted in red). The vehicle measures 2050 mm in length, 810 mm in width and 1065 mm in height. It gets a 13-litre fuel tank and tips the scales at 164 kgs (dry).

Considering that the 200-250cc segment of bikes in India have huge demand, the Benelli TNT 200 is expected to be launched later next year and rival not only the KTM Duke 200 but also the Yamaha FZ25, TVS Apache 200, Pulsar NS 200 and even the upcoming Hero Xtreme 200S. The motorcycle will be positioned below the TNT 25 in India and is expected to be priced under Rs. 1.5 lakhs (ex-showroom).
