Benelli has unveiled the Tornado Naked T 135 at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. The Italian automaker has unveiled four other bikes as well along with it.
The Benelli TNT 135 was first showcased at the EICMA in 2015 and finally has brought the same into India with four other bikes up to 500cc. The TNT 135 is a supermoto style with a 4-stroke, single cylinder, air cooled fuel injected engine at its heart. It produces 12.6 BHP at 9000 RPM and churns out 10.8 Nm at 7000 RPM. The twin spark engine is coupled with a 5-speed transmission and a chain drive. It employs a wet sump lubrication system with a 7.2-litre fuel tank.
The TNT 135 features USD 41mm forks in the front while Monocross suspension with spring pre-load adjuster at the back. The 12 inch wheels are equipped with 120/70 section tyres with 220mm single hydraulic disc at the front and 130/70 section tyres with a 190mm disc at the rear. With the seat height at just 780mm, the TNT 135 sure does look fun.
Benelli has recently begun their operations in full swing with 15 dealerships spread throughout the country and are currently in the process of 5 more in the subsequent months. With a current line-up of six bikes already, Benelli are soon to increase the number.
