A test mule of the Benelli MotoBi-250 cruiser has been spotted testing for the first time in India.
The Benelli MotoBi-250 was spotted doing its test runs in India for the first time and going by the looks, the motorcycle seems to be in its near production-ready form. Benelli has not put a word yet on the launch of this cruiser motorcycle, but is expected to launch it in the near future.
The spotted test mule features alloy wheels, disc brake at the front, pillion backrest and a twin chrome exhaust pipe. The cruiser bike draws power from a 251cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, carburetted engine that produces 17.4 HP of power and 16.5 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox.
The cruiser motorcycle gets standard telescopic forks upfront and dual coil springs (oil-damped) at the rear. Braking is taken care off via a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The Benelli MotoBi-250 tips the scale at 145 kgs (dry) and gets a 14-litres fuel tank capacity. When launched, the Benelli MotoBi-250 will rival the Bajaj Avenger 220, Hyosung Aquila 250 and UM Renegade Commando.
