Benelli has officially revealed the Leoncino 800 at the ongoing EICMA.
Benelli launched the Leoncino 500 and then the Leoncino 250 in India recently. Now, the company has showcased the Leoncino 800 at the 2019 EICMA. The motorcycle gets a tubular truss frame, all LED lighting and a Lion of Pesaro motif on the front fender.
The design of the Benellio Leoncino 800 does look very appealing. It has a nice rugged feel to it. The 15-litre fuel tank has a flat design on the sides. The bike gets a single-piece seat with a step-up paddle. The wheels get a cross-spoke design which really blends with the rest of the motorcycle.
It also gets a TFT display for the instrument cluster. The Benelli Leoncino 800 is powered by a 754cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine making 81.6 HP at 9000 RPM and 67 Nm at 6500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it is expected to power the TRK 800 range too.
Doing suspension duties are 50 mm Marzochhi upside-down front forks and a central monoshock at the rear. It gets a Brembo braking system which includes 320 mm dual front discs and a 260 mm single rear disc. Tyre sizes are 120/70/17 at the front and 180/55/17 at the rear.
