Benelli has confirmed the launch of 302S in India by early 2021, as the bike maker looks to bolster its presence in our country.
Set to replace the TNT 300 naked bike, the 302S will be a more modern motorcycle and will take its place among BS6 range of motorcycles from the Chinese-owned manufacturer.
First bike of Benelli’s updated BS6 range has already been launched in India in the form of the Imperiale 400 which is priced at Rs. 1.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Next up, we expect 500cc models such as the TRK 502, TRK 502X and the Leoncino 500 to be launched before the end of the year.
Thus, the Benelli 302S launch will take place in 2021, following which will come the 302R, Leoncino 250 and the TNT 600i, making it a seven model onslaught from the brand, which is quite aggressive and healthy for the competition too.
Sticking with the 302S, the streetfighter will come with a 300cc parallel twin, liquid-cooled motor that puts out 37.5 BHP at 11,000 RPM and 25.6 Nm at 9000 RPM.
The 2021 Benelli 302S launch will see the bike come with full LED lighting, digital TFT instrument cluster, USD forks, dual petal discs upfront, among other features.
Likely to be offered in four colour schemes, the 302S might command a taller premium over the TNT 300.
