Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch the 2021 Pulsar 180 roadster as it aims to further bolster its product portfolio amid increasing competition.
Back in 2019, the 2-wheeler firm stopped selling the motorcycle and only kept the 180F, which is mechanically identical to the 180cc naked bike, on sale.
However in the meantime, Honda has launched the Hornet 2.0, while TVS still continued to have the Apache RTR 180 in the market.
Now though, the automaker has decided to reintroduce the Pulsar 180 and it is likely to look just like the Pulsar 150, with a small bikini fairing, fuel tank extensions and split seats.
To be powered by the brand’s 178.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that puts out 17 PS max power and 14.52 Nm of peak torque, the 2021 Pulsar 180 will also have alloy wheels, telescopic forks, dual gas-charged shocks at the rear, single disc brake at the front and rear and single channel ABS.
Although the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 launch details are yet to be revealed officially, the motorcycle is expected to cost more than the Pulsar 150 (priced from Rs. 1.05 lakhs (ex-showroom)) and less than the 180F which is priced at about Rs. 9500/- more than the 150, when it goes on sale.
