This price cut exercise should help boost the sales of the 2022 Bajaj Dominar 250
Bajaj Auto has reduced the asking price of the 2022 Bajaj Dominar 250 by Rs. 16,800/-. Now, the motorcycle costs Rs. 1,54,176/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Now, the motorcycle costs less than it did when it was first introduced in March last year for Rs. 1.60 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Despite the price reduction, Bajaj has made no changes to the product specifications. Thus, the quarter litre motorcycle continues to come with LED headlights with Auto Headlamp On (AHO) feature, twin instrumentation, 37 mm inverted front forks, twin barrel exhaust and under-seat bungee straps.
Powering the bike is a liquid cooled 248.8cc single cylinder engine that puts out 27 PS of maximum power and 23.5 Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that comes with a slipper clutch.
Offered in Canyon Red and Charcoal Black colour options, it is equipped with a 300 mm front disc, 230 mm rear disc and there is dual channel ABS for added safety.
Weighing in at 180 kg, the Bajaj Dominar 250 rides on 17-inch rims wrapped with 100-section front and 130-section rear rubber.
This move should help Bajaj sell more Dominar 250s over the coming months. Recently, Yamaha had also reduced the retail price of the FZ 25 and FZS 25 in order to help improve the sales of its 250cc product.
