Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z price revealed, deliveries commence in June
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z launched with an introductory price of Rs. 1.85 lakhs (ex-showroom). One of the key highlights of the NS400Z is its powertrain, which borrows the same liquid-cooled, 373cc, single-cylinder engine found in the Dominar 400.
This engine churns out 40 HP at 8800 RPM and 35 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. Bajaj claims that the NS400Z boasts a top speed of 154 km/hr.
In terms of design, the NS400Z showcases a distinctively edgy aesthetic, with sharp tank extensions and a unique headlight configuration featuring a central LED projector flanked by lightning bolt-shaped DRLs. This aggressive styling is complemented by premium features such as a 43 mm USD fork, preload-adjustable monoshock and a 320mm front disc with a 4-piston Grimeca axial caliper and 230 mm rear disc.
It comes with 110/70-17 front and 140/70-R17 rear tyres. It has a ground clearance of 168 mm.
Furthermore, the NS400Z offers a range of modern rider aids, including four riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain, Offroad), three levels of traction control and switchable dual-channel ABS. These features are accessible through a colour LCD dash. The instrument cluster comes with navigation control, music control, call accept and reject, lap timer, missed call and SMS notification and brightness control.
Despite its performance-oriented nature, the NS400Z boasts a relatively lightweight chassis, weighing in at 174 kg with a fully brimmed 12-litre fuel tank. Additionally, its accessible seat height of 805 mm makes it suitable for riders of varying heights, enhancing its overall versatility.
Bookings for the NS400Z are currently open across all Bajaj showrooms and the company’s website, requiring a token amount of Rs. 5000/-. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the first week of June.
