Bajaj Pulsar NS400 spied, the biggest capacity Pulsar yet
Bajaj Auto is gearing up for the launch of its much anticipated Bajaj Pulsar NS400 spied recently. The Indian two-wheeler maker has scheduled the launch on 3rd May, 2024.
The spy shots of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 offer a clear glimpse into its design and features. Sporting a striking resemblance to its predecessor the NS200, the NS400 exhibits familiar elements such as the split-seat setup, tail section and split grab rail design. However, subtle tweaks to the tank design and extensions contribute to its distinct identity.
Under the hood, the NS400 is speculated to be powered by a 373.3cc single-cylinder engine borrowed from the Bajaj Dominar 400. This engine is known for its strong performance and is expected to deliver a spirited ride. However, Bajaj Auto might adjust the gearing for enhanced acceleration.
In terms of suspension, the NS400 is equipped with a gold-finished inverted fork and a gas-charged monoshock setup. Additionally, features such as ABS modes and traction control are anticipated to enhance safety and handling.
Noteworthy aesthetic touches include radiator shrouds with a carbon fiber texture, adjustable brake and clutch levers and red highlights on the front fender. LCD-screen with smartphone connectivity and navigation is also expected to be offered with the NS400.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is expected to rival popular offerings such as the KTM Duke 390, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. It is expected to come with a price point of around Rs. 2 lakhs.
