Bajaj Pulsar N125 Spotted Testing, Launch Expected Soon

Bajaj Pulsar N125 launch expected later this year with a price tag of Rs. 1 lakh

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 has been spotted on test once more, providing a clearer glimpse of the upcoming entry-level model in the Pulsar lineup. Despite being clad in camouflage, the motorcycle shares several design cues with its larger sibling, the Bajaj Pulsar N150.

The Pulsar N125 appears to have a muscular stance, featuring a robust fuel tank with sharp shrouds and a streamlined rear section. The front end showcases a newly designed headlight, complemented by an easy-to-reach handlebar that suggests a rider-friendly ergonomic setup. The bike is also equipped with a split seat arrangement and a sleek single-piece grab rail, catering to both aesthetics and practicality.

In terms of rider comfort, the Pulsar N125 is expected to offer an upright riding posture, thanks to its mid-set footpegs. The motorcycle also sports an underbelly exhaust, which adds to its sporty appeal.

Suspension duties on the bike are handled by a telescopic fork at the front, which is partially covered, and a monoshock at the rear. Additional features include a leg guard and a centre stand, enhancing both safety and convenience. Previous sightings indicated the presence of a kick-start lever, though it was not visible in the latest images, possibly obscured by the rider’s leg.

The Pulsar N125 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, likely mirroring the design of those on the N150. The tyre hugger also appears to be a carryover from its larger counterpart.

Bajaj is expected to equip the Pulsar N125 with a new 125cc engine, marking a significant update over the existing engines in this segment, which have not seen major revisions for some time. Alternatively, the bike could feature a downsized version of the N150’s engine. The introduction of a refined and more powerful engine would be a strategic move to enhance the N125’s competitiveness against rivals like the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda SP 125.

The Bajaj Pulsar N125 is anticipated to hit the market in the coming months, with an expected price point around the Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. This positioning would place it squarely in competition with other popular models in the 125cc segment, making it an interesting addition to Bajaj’s Pulsar lineup.
