Bajaj Pulsar N125 Colours

Bajaj Pulsar N125 comes in two variants, rivals TVS Raider 125 & Honda SP125

Bajaj Pulsar N125 launched with a starting price of Rs. 94,707/- (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is available in two variants: the base-spec LED Disc variant and the LED Disc BT variant, priced at Rs. 98,707/- (ex-showroom). Positioned in the highly competitive 125cc commuter segment, the Pulsar N125 is Bajaj’s latest attempt to attract customers with an offering that balances affordability and modern features.

Design and Styling

The Pulsar N125 adopts a design that stands apart from the rest of the Pulsar N series, offering a fresh visual identity. The motorcycle is equipped with a newly designed LED headlamp that slopes downward, lending a distinctive front-end look. A large sculpted fuel tank, extending toward the front fork with tank shrouds, adds a muscular stance to the bike.

Additionally, the N125 features a split-seat setup and alloy wheels similar to those seen on the now-discontinued Pulsar P150. Unlike other Pulsar models, the N125 is fitted with a single-piece grab rail at the rear.

The Pulsar N125 comes in seven colour options: four for the LED Disc variant and three for the LED Disc BT variant, giving buyers ample choices to personalise their rides.

Features and Technology

The base model of the Pulsar N125 is equipped with a basic LCD display, while the higher-spec LED Disc BT variant adds a more sophisticated monochrome LCD with Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing the bike’s tech appeal. This level of feature differentiation aligns with the pricing of the two variants, giving customers a choice based on their preferences for technology.

Mechanical Specifications

The Pulsar N125 employs a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock for its suspension setup, aimed at delivering a balanced ride. The braking system consists of a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. Additionally, the LED Disc BT variant is outfitted with wider, low-profile 110/80-17 tyres, while the base variant gets slightly narrower 100/90-17 tyres, making the BT variant more performance-focused in terms of grip and handling.

Engine and Performance

Powering the Pulsar N125 is a reworked version of Bajaj’s existing 125cc engine. The engine produces 11.8 BHP and 11 Nm of torque, similar to the NS125. However, there is a notable difference in the torque delivery; the N125 achieves peak torque at 6000 RPM, compared to the NS125’s 7000 RPM, which could provide a smoother, more accessible power band for city riding.

Competition

With a starting price just below Rs. 1 lakh, the Pulsar N125 competes with several well-established models in the 125cc commuter segment. Its combination of modern styling, decent power figures and a balance between affordability and features could make it an attractive choice for those seeking a daily commuter with a dash of style.

Overall, the Pulsar N125 presents itself as a value-for-money option in a crowded segment, offering both basic and advanced variants to cater to different customer needs.
