Bajaj Auto has hiked the prices of the Dominar 400 and Pulsar range.
Bajaj Auto has increased prices of its motorcycles due to rising input costs. The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 gets the most substantial price increase. The Dominar 400 now costs Rs. 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) after a price hike of Rs. 6000/-.
The recent update to the Bajaj Dominar 400 gave it additional kit and a performance upgrade. The 2019 version uses the same 373.3cc engine but develops 39.9 HP and 35 Nm of torque. The bike’s suspension was also upgraded with new Endurance USD front forks and a re-tuned rear monoshock. The front brakes were changed to radially mounted callipers.
On the other hand, The Bajaj Pulsar too received a price hike across variants. The Pulsar 150 ABS now retails at Rs. 84,960/- following an increase of Rs. 479/- while the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc variant gets a price hike of Rs. 499/- and is available at Rs. 88,838/-. The Pulsar 150 Neon Edition gets an increase of Rs. 2950/- which is maximum across the Pulsar lineup. The Neon edition is now available at Rs. 71,200/- (all prices, ex-showroom).
The price hike on the Pulsar NS 160 Twin Disc, 220F and NS 200 is Rs. 499/- while the Pulsar 180F sees a price increase of Rs. 1012/-. Bajaj has also increased the prices of the Platina, Discover and V15 with the Avenger not seeing an uptick in cost.
It is worth noting that the Pulsar 150 range remains the same and receives no mechanical or cosmetic upgrades. It comes powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 13.8 HP and 13.5 Nm of torque. Even after the price hike, the Dominar 400 still remains a well priced package considering the features and the upgrades it received as part of the 2019 update.
