Bajaj Pulsar 220F Discontinued
The much-loved motorcycle will not be produced anymore

With the new 250cc Pulsars already on sale, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F had to be discontinued

The time has come for the Bajaj Pulsar 220F to be discontinued as its spiritual successor, the F250, has been introduced to the market already.

According to the latest development, Bajaj Auto has completed production of the last batch of the 220F model and all the units have made it to the brand’s dealerships across the nation.

Priced at Rs. 1,33,907/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), the semi-faired motorcycle has been a very strong seller for Bajaj since its introduction 14 years ago. For example, in September this year, Bajaj sold 4108 units of the bike.

Bajaj Pulsar F250
Will people show the same amount of love for the Pulsar F250?

It would be an understatement to say that Indians love the Pulsar 220F which managed to age well with time, while still having relevant performance to this day.

The tried and tested 220cc, oil-cooled, 2-valve, motor is good for 20.4 PS at 8500 RPM and 18.55 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. In addition, the bike’s 15-litre fuel tank and partial fairing made it an apt companion for short tours.

However, with the new generation 250cc Pulsars already on sale in the market, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F had to be discontinued. Do note that while the Pulsar F250 is Rs. 6000/- more dearer than the aged 220F, it is more powerful, has a bigger front brake, among other things and looks much more modern.
