Sources have revealed to us that Bajaj Auto is planning to launch the next generation Pulsar 200 NS in the last week of May. Just last week, the company started training of the Pulsar 200 NS and bookings are expected to start anytime soon. Expect the booking amount to be Rs. 5000/- with deliveries commencing in the first week of the June. While Bajaj Auto did showcase the Pulsar 200 NS in all its glory way back in January 2012, the company has incorporated some changes to the final production model. As we speak, production has already commenced and Bajaj Auto has estimated the huge demand it will receive for the bike.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is the first in the range of next generation Pulsars. Bajaj Auto is expected to launch lower displacement Pulsars later this year, while reports suggest that a more powerful 350-375cc version is likely to debut next year. The Pulsar 200 NS will also spawn a fully faired version some time in the near future. The Pulsar 200 NS is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder engine which uses a carb and three spark plugs technology. This helps the Pulsar 200 NS to achieve a power output of 23.17 BHP and a torque output of 18.3 Nm, resulting in a sub 10 seconds dash to 100 km/h and a top speed of 136 km/h.
