Bajaj had launched the Pulsar 180F after it discontinued the Pulsar 180 from its lineup. The semi-faired 180F’s styling is inspired by its elder sibling the Pulsar 220F. The Pulsar 180F was introduced without ABS but now the company has updated the 180F with ABS. The Bajaj Pulsar 180F ABS is priced at Rs. 94,728/- (ex-showroom, Pune) which makes it almost Rs. 7800/- more expensive than the non-ABS version of the motorcycle.

The Pulsar 180F was introduced in January 2019 without the ABS safety net. It could be a case where Bajaj wanted to introduce the new model at a lower price point to garner some sales. However, with the necessary safety mandates implemented in, manufacturers are busy upgrading their scooters and motorcycle offerings with CBS and ABS. The current Pulsar 180F is now available with ABS as standard.

The addition of ABS surely increases the price of the Pulsar 180F, However, it undercuts its elder 220F sibling by a healthy price margin. The 180F borrows the styling from the 220F including that half-fairing featuring vertically stacked headlamps and DRLs. The 180F also gets the neon colour schemes. There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle. It is powered by a 178.6cc, single-cylinder engine which produces 17 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Bajaj Pulsar 180F’s closest rivals are the Yamaha Fazer 150 FI and the Suzuki Gixxer SF.
