2019 Bajaj Pulsar 150 ABS spied testing and the launch is expected before Diwali.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been the leader in the 150cc segment. The rear disc variant of Pulsar 150 was launched earlier this year. However, this time it is the Pulsar 150 ABS which has been spied. The new dual-channel ABS was being tested in the real-world scenario.
Most of the manufacturers are upgrading their products with ABS so that their two-wheelers comply with the new Indian safety norms. The new standards mandate ABS for two-wheelers with a displacement of more than 125cc and combi braking system (CBS) for small displacement models. Apart from ABS, the new Pulsar 150 is expected to get some other changes too.
There is an addition of belly pan with a dual-tone colour scheme. The silencer end-canister looks a little bigger than the current model, suggesting that the upcoming vehicle will be BS-VI ready. However, we expect that there are some tweaks to the engine for improving the performance and to reduce emissions.
Rest of the bike is expected to be the same. With the addition of dual channel ABS and other features, the price of the Pulsar 150 ABS is expected to be in the range of Rs. 80,000-90,000/-. With the launch during the festive season, the bike will continue to be the best seller in its segment.
