Bajaj Platina ComforTec has been launched in India and gets upgradations in the suspension to provide improved comfort. The Platina ComforTec is available in two variants and is priced from Rs. 43,193/-.
After getting a huge successive response of the Platina ES, Bajaj Auto has launched a new version of the motorcycle, called Platina ComforTec. ComforTec is a unique technology, designed to deliver a comfortable ride with 20 percent fewer jerks on uneven roads, the company claims. The price of this new Platina ComforTec is Rs. 43,193/- for the kick start model and Rs. 45,164/- for the electric start variant (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
This ComforTec technology includes some unique components. Superior front suspension with 28 percent longer springs while in the rear there are 22% extra long springs provided for better comfort for the pillion rider. The long seat of the motorcycle is designed for a comfortable ride experience. The rubber footpads can provide more safety and comfort to the rider, the company states on its website.
This mileage machine can give a stunning 104 km/l of mileage (as per ARAI). Also, the Platina ComforTec is equipped with some features like electric start, highest ground clearance of 200 mm, SNS suspension and zero maintenance battery. The Bajaj Platina ComforTec is powered by 102cc engine and maximum power is 8.2 BHP at 7500 RPM with the peak torque being 8.6 Nm at 5000 RPM. The commuter motorcycle is available in three colours – black, red and blue.
