The KTM Duke 200 was launched earlier this year, being offered only in neon orange color. The orange color on the Duke 200 is KTM’s signature color, but many found it too loud for sober duties (like going to the office). Now Bajaj Auto has launched two new colors for the KTM Duke 200 which look very good indeed. The new colors infuse freshness in the Duke 200, which we are quite bored of seeing in orange. Available for booking immediately, the new colors on the Duke 200 come in time for the festive season.
The two new colors on the KTM Duke 200 are white and black. The white colored Duke gets orange and black decals, while the black colored Duke gets white and orange decals. These new colors certainly don’t look as aggressive as the orange shade but many would prefer their Duke that way. Just recently Bajaj Auto hiked prices of the Duke 200 between Rs. 8000 – 13,000/- and the company had mentioned that the prices were introductory at launch. However the Duke 200 continues to be an excellent performance motorcycle in its segment.
The KTM Duke 200 is powered by a 200cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 25 BHP of power and 19.2 Nm of torque. The short gearing gives the Duke 200 mad 2-stroke like performance, enabling the motorcycle to hit 100 km/h from standstill in under 10 seconds. The KTM Duke 200 is being actively promoted by the company, with orange days being kept in major cities to boost awareness and build a cult following for the Austrian brand. The Duke 200 was recently homologated for racing and has taken part in Raid De Himalayas.
