The new Bajaj Chetak gets a modern design with a steel body and is available with 6 colour options.
The Bajaj Chetak re-entered the Indian market after a long while but in an electric avatar. Though the e-scooter is officially unveiled, the company is yet to reveal the price for the same. The price is expected to be around Rs. 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Bajaj Chetak will go on sale through KTM dealerships in the city of Pune, Bengaluru and other initial markets. The premium position of the dealer network goes in line with the premium position Bajaj wants to create with the new Chetak. Adding more to the mix is the brand Husqvarna, joining KTM in the same space. Existing Bajaj dealerships might be gradually upgraded to offer a similar experience.
The new Bajaj Chetak gets a modern design with a steel body and is available with 6 colour options. It gets an LED headlamp with DRLs, feather touch electronic switches, and LED blinkers. The Chetak also gets a digital instrument cluster.
The Chetak gets a range of 95 kms which goes down to 85 kms on Sport mode. The e-scooter offers two riding modes – Eco and Sport along with a reverse assist mode. It also gets regenerative braking. Also, Bajaj is offering a mobile app that has features like data communication, user authentication and security.
