The Bajaj Dominar 400 with ABS has been launched in Turkey, is compliant with the latest Euro 4 emission norms in Turkey.
ABS version of the Bajaj Dominar 400 has been launched by Bajaj Auto in association with their partner Kuralkan Motor in Ankara in Turkey. The model that retails there is the same as the BS4 variant sold here in India.
Powering the Dominar 400 is a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 35 HP at 8000 RPM and 35 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM and comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The Dominar is available in the same 3 colours as in India – Midnight Blue, Twilight Plum, and Moon White.
The suspension duties are taken care via 43 mm telescopic forks upfront and a dual spring monoshock with adjustable preload at the rear. There is a 320 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear to handle the braking duties. Both the discs feature ABS. The Dominar runs on 17-inch wheels at the front as well as the rear while the front wheel is wrapped with a 110 section tyre, the rear gets a fatter 150 section tyre.
In terms of equipment, the Dominar comes across as a feature-rich motorcycle and gets equipment like LED headlamps, slipper clutch and reverse backlit instrument cluster. The Dominar 400 is priced at TRY (Turkish Lira) 17,998/- (approximately Rs. 3.28 lakhs).
