Bajaj Auto has given a mild update to the Avenger Cruise 220 and it comes with a new Desert Gold colour scheme now. The pricing of the bike remains unchanged.
Bajaj had launched the new range of Avenger motorcycles in India in October 2015. The Avenger is a very popular cruiser bike meant for the masses and the new range consisted of 3 products – Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220. The bikes were earlier offered in just one shade for each variant. Bajaj has now decided to add some appeal to the product range.
The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is now available in an all-new Desert Gold livery (will remind you of the Yamaha Enticer). The new paint scheme looks good and adds some flair to the bike. Body panels like the mud guards, fuel tank, fenders, etc. have been painted in the new colour. Apart from this, the seat also gets a new shade of brown that matches the golden livery.
In terms of mechanicals, the bike remains completely unchanged. The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is powered by a 220cc TwinSpark, 2-valve, DTS-i that produces 18.76 BHP of power at 8400 RPM and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. Bajaj has not changed the pricing of the bike and it continues to be offered at Rs. 83,197 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).
As of now, only the Cruise 220 has been given updates. This is being done to keep the product portfolio fresh and to provide some more variety to customers. We also expect Bajaj Auto to update the Street 150 and Street 220 in the near future too.
