The Avan Trend E electric scooter has been launched in India and it is available in 2 variants.
Avan Motors India launched its electric scooter Trend E at the EV Marathon Summit, BV Tech Expo India 2019. The Trend E is the latest addition to its Xero series of high-performance electric scooters. The price begins at Rs. 56,900/- (ex-showroom) for a single-battery scooter and Rs. 81,269/- (ex-showroom) for the double-battery variant. The electric scooter is now available for a booking fee of Rs. 1100/-.
The new Avan Trend E electric scooter is available in several colour combinations like Red-Black, Black-Red and White-Blue. It draws power from a lithium-ion battery and hits a claimed top speed of 45 km/hr. The electric scooter boasts a range of 60 kms on a single-battery and 110 kms with the double-battery. The e-scooter has a charging time of 2-4 hours.
Additionally, the Avan Trend E is sprung with a hydraulic telescopic front suspension and a coil spring suspension at the rear. The scooter also gets alloy wheels. The braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake in the front and drum brakes at the rear. It also boasts of high ground clearance and a maximum payload of 150 kgs. The company also targets to deliver the scooters by 31st March to those who book theirs before the specified date.
