The cars in the first 5 spots of the August 2021 compact SUV sales chart were the same ones that dominated sales in the month of July.
Once again, it was the Maruti Vitara Brezza which was at the top of the pecking order with 12,906 unit sales and it was followed by the Nexon from Tata which registered sales of 10,006 units.
Third-placed Venue from Hyundai found 8377 new homes, while its twin, the Kia Sonet found 7752 new buyers this past month.
During the same period, the Mahindra XUV300 registered sales of 5861 units and the Mahindra Thar was delivered to 3493 customers.
Up next in the August 2021 compact SUV sales chart are the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger and they registered sales of 2984 and 2669 units respectively.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser followed closely, as it sold 2654 times over. The state of the Honda WR-V (672 units) and the Ford EcoSport (396), which occupied the last 2 spots, was not that great.
In all, the compact SUVs in the list registered sales of 57,770 units which is a commendable 115 percent growth as against the same period a year before.
