Audi Q7 Bold Edition launched soon after Q3 & Q3 Sportback Bold Editions
Audi Q7 Bold Edition has been introduced in limited numbers in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 97.84 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special edition has been launched a few weeks after the Bold Editions of the Q3 and Q3 Sportback.
This new edition is positioned at a premium of around Rs. 3.3 lakhs over the range topping Technology trim of the standard Q7, which retails for Rs. 94.45 lakhs (ex-showroom). While Audi India has confirmed that the Q7 Bold Edition will be available in limited quantities, the exact number of units has not been disclosed.
The Q7 Bold Edition distinguishes itself with several exterior enhancements, courtesy of a Black Styling Pack. This package includes gloss black finishes on elements such as the front grille, wing mirrors, window surrounds, roof rails and even the Audi logos. The limited edition is available in four exterior colours – Glacier White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue and Samurai Grey.
Standard features retained in the Bold Edition include Matrix LED headlamps, 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, panoramic sunroof, 4-zone climate control, ambient lighting and a lane departure warning system.
Mechanically, the Q7 Bold Edition remains unchanged from the standard model. It is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine producing 340 HP and 500 Nm torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It does 0 to 100 km/hr in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/hr. The Q7 Bold Edition also features Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system and offers seven drive modes: Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-Road, All-Road and Individual.
The Audi Q7 competes with the BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE in the Indian market.
