The Audi Prologue concept has been put on show at the 2016 Auto Expo and the vehicle is extremely powerful and eye catchy too.
Audi had showcased the Prologue concept at the 2014 LA Motor Show and now the Ingolstadt based automaker has unveiled the vehicle at the 2016 Auto Expo. The aim of the vehicle is to display the styling philosophy that will be used on future vehicles coming out from Audi. The car gets a lot of futuristic design touches on the outside. Lots of body panels are heavily designed and come with a lot of detailing too.
When we look at the side profile of the Prologue, we get to look at the vehicle’s long dimensions. The alloy wheels remind you of sharp blade rotors while the interiors also look as if they have come out of some sci-fi movie. The steering wheel gets a very unique design and looks quite eye-catchy. When the Prologue hits the assembly line, it will compete with the Mercedes S-Class Coupe.
The concept measures 5100 mm in length, 1950 mm in width and 1390 mm in height. Under the hood, the Audi Prologue draws power from a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that unleashes 597 HP of power and 750 Nm of torque. The Prologue also gets quattro and Audi claims that its fuel efficiency is 11.62 km/l. CO2 emissions are rated at 199 g/km.
