Audi has confirmed that it will launch the Q3 in India next year. The German automaker plans to increase its volumes in the country with the launch of the Q3, which would be the cheapest Audi vehicle on sale in India. The Audi Q3 will directly compete with the BMW X1 and will help the company meet its aggressive sales target. The Q3 will be showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo and will be priced at Rs. 24 lakhs for the base variant. It will initially be powered by a 2.0 liter TDi motor which produces 170 bhp of power.
