Audi India has launched the new A6 with a 2.0 TDI engine. The German automaker offers new A6 with four engine options in both petrol and diesel version. The new Audi A6 2.0 TDI is priced at Rs. 37,70,000/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). Audi A6 2.0 TDI will be available at Audi dealerships from October 2011.
The 2012 Audi A6 2.0 TDI motor is very fuel efficient, returning a mileage of 18.9 kmpl. The 1968 cc diesel motor produces 177 HP of power, which is on par with the BMW 520d.
“The new A6 2.0 TDI is a new benchmark globally and in India for sporty, yet efficient driving, paired with Audi’s progressive design. We achieved consumption levels with a 1585 kg weight car, which many smaller cars in India cannot achieve. With the arrival of this important model and the 2.0 TDi engine in India, we are confident that we might even increase our forecast for this year based on a strong response to the new A6,” Michael Perschke, Head – Audi India, said.
