Since bookings for both Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback have commenced, they should be launched soon
Audi India has started accepting bookings for its e-tron and e-tron Sportback electric crossovers today. The token amount for booking each model is Rs. 5 lakhs.
Those interested can book the electric vehicles (EVs) either online, at the German firm’s Indian website or at any of Audi’s authorised dealerships.
The e-tron is the first electric model from the brand with the 4 rings, while the e-tron Sportback is a more dynamic-looking offering with its sloping roofline.
Both electric crossovers will come with a dual-motor setup and with a maximum power output of 300 kW (402 HP) and 664 Nm of peak torque. They can do the 0-100 km/hr dash in 5.7 seconds.
Each model will bank on a 95 kWh battery pack which provides them between 359 and 484 km of claimed range on a single charge.
As standard, both EVs will get Matrix LED headlamps, progressive steering, 4 zone air-conditioner, adaptive air suspension, all-wheel drive, among several other features and the latest technology.
While the cars support up to 150 kW DC charging, Audi claims that a 11 kW AC home charger can recharge their battery in 8.5 hours.
With the Audi e-tron bookings having commenced along with the bookings of the e-tron Sportback, the EVs should be launched soon and the Jaguar I-Pace and Mercedes EQC should beware.
