Ather 450 Apex teased, bookings commence
Ather Energy has recently opened bookings for its highly anticipated 450 Apex model on their official website. You can book the electric scooter for Rs. 2500, which is fully refundable. Touted as “the pinnacle of the 450 platform,” the 450 Apex is claimed to be the most performance-oriented scooter in the lineup.
Specific technical details are yet to be officially disclosed by the company. The current flagship model, the 450X, boasts a 6.4 kW electric motor producing 26 Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-40 km/hr acceleration in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 90 km/hr. The 450X is equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery pack, providing a range of 150 km on a single charge.
What sets the 450 Apex apart is the introduction of four distinct riding modes – Eco, Ride, Sport and Warp+. This suggests a versatile riding experience, catering to various preferences and optimising energy consumption in different scenarios. The inclusion of a “Warp+” mode hints at a potential high-performance setting.
While Ather Energy has not officially unveiled the technical specifications of the 450 Apex, it is widely speculated that the model will feature a more powerful electric motor, resulting in improved acceleration and potentially a higher top speed.
