Aprilia Tuono 125 might get introduced in India to churn out big volumes.
Now that the Aprilia brand has spread its name across the country thanks to the SR 125 scooter, the Italian bike maker might be considering to introduce an entry-level affordable motorcycle in the country.
The Aprilia Tuono 125 has been listed on the company’s official Indian website. The bike maker has listed the global portfolio bikes on the Indian website but who knows, they might be taking feedback and checking customer interest to see if it’ll be viable in our market.
125cc premium bike segment is present in our country thanks to the KTM Duke 125 and RC 125. Such bikes sell mostly because of the styling factor and premium badge. If Aprilia decides to introduce the Tuono 125, they might see a lot of buyers.
The bike is powered by a 124.2cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, fuel injection, 4 valves engine that produces 15 PS at 10,500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 8250 RPM.
It comes with USD fork at the front and monoshock rear suspension. Has 300 mm front disc and 218 mm rear disc. 14.5-litre of fuel tank capacity and 810 mm of seat height.
The styling is heavily inspired by its eldest sibling, the Tuono V4 1100 Factory. There is no official word from the Italian bike maker about the launch of this bike in India. Only time will tell if it’ll be introduced in the market or not.
