Piaggio India has opened bookings of the Aprilia SXR 125, today. The token amount for the same has been set at Rs. 5000/-.
Those interested can book the scooter on the brand’s e-commerce site and at Aprilia dealerships across the country.
The scooter has the exact same design as the SXR 160 which was launched back in December 2020 in the nation. It comes with wrap around LED headlights, LED tail lamps, a full digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth mobile connectivity option.
Featuring an adjustable rear suspension, the maxi-scooter also has disc brake with CBS. Aprilia says the SXR 125 will deliver a comfortable riding experience thanks to its sorted ergonomics.
Available in Glossy Red, Glossy White, Matt Black, and Matt Blue colours, the scooter comes powered by a 125cc motor. Although power and torque figures have yet to be announced, it is expected to produce 9.5 BHP and 9.9 Nm of torque, like in the Aprilia Storm 125.
In addition to the announcement about the commencement of the Aprilia SXR 125 bookings, Piaggio has also revealed that the production of the scooter has begun at its Baramati plant in Pune. Thus, expect the maxi-scooter to be launched soon.
