Aprilia will soon launch the Storm 125 in India at a price of Rs. 65,000/-.
Aprilia is gearing up to launch its most affordable offering in the Indian market in the form of the Storm 125. The Aprilia Storm 125 will be priced at Rs. 65,000/- (ex-showroom, India) and it is expected to be launched by the end of April 2019.
The Aprilia Storm 125 was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo but its launch got delayed. The scooter will be available in a choice of 3 colours – Red, Black and Yellow offered in matte finishes. The scooter also gets catchy graphics. The Storm 125 will come with 12-inch wheels unlike the SR 125 and SR 150 which get 14-inch wheels.
The scooter shares its chassis, drivetrain and brakes with the SR 125, however, it misses out on grab handles. The Storm 125 is likely to get 120/80/12 (front) and 130/80/12 (rear) tyres. It will come with the same 124.49cc engine as the SR 125. This air-cooled, single-cyl engine produces 9.5 HP and 9.8 Nm.
